Speak of me as you have always done.
Remember the good times, laughter and fun.
Share the happy memories we've made.
Do not let them wither or fade.

I'll be with you in the summers sun
And when the winters chill has come.
I'll be the voice that whispers in the breeze.
I'm peaceful now, put your mind at ease.

I've rested my eyes and gone to sleep
But memories we've shared are yours to keep.
Sometimes our final days may be a test
But remember me when I was at my best.

Although things may not be the same
Don't be afraid to use my name.
Let your sorrow last for just a while
Comfort each other and try to smile.

I've lived a life filled with joy and fun
Live on now, make me proud of what you'll become.

Granny, you are loved more than there are words to describe and while we are broken-hearted that you are gone, it is certain that you are watching over us with the angels. Your pain has been replaced with magnificent wings and the shine is back in your stunning blue eyes, making you a gorgeous angel. Dad said your new job is watching over your great-grandkids, enjoy it and rest easy Granny.

God Saw You Getting Tired
Unknown Author
God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be
so he put his arms around you and whispered,
“Come to Me”
With tearful eyes we watched you
and saw you pass away
and although we love you dearly
we could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating
hard working hands at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best

Granny, your life was full of loving deeds,
forever thoughtful of our special needs.
Today and tomorrow, my whole life through,
I will always love and cherish you.
There was magic in your touch,
and sunshine in your smile.
There was love in everything you did
to make our lives worthwhile.
We found both hope and courage
just by looking in your eyes.
Your laughter was a source of joy,
your words warm and wise.
There was a kindness and compassion
found in your embrace,
And shining down from Heaven above
we see the glow of Granny’s face.

I did not know Peggy well, but what I remember was that she was a very kind person. My sister, Debbie, was married to one of her sons, Charles. I would see her on occasional family visits. Sweet woman! Big smile!

Godspeed to all her family......

My Aunt Peggy is one of a kind and one in a million. In my eyes, she will always be, the most beautiful person to walk the earth. Some Aunts have that special touch, she put my care at ease. She knew just what to say and do to comfort me. Aunt Peggy was very kind and very thoughtful. I will miss our soulful conversations and her phone calls to make sure I was ready for the hurricane (we get a few once a year in Florida). My world has been a better place and happier by far, because of my precious Aunt Peggy.

Sim and family send our most sincere condolences to the family. I've been an employee and adopted family member to this family for many years now. Ms. Peggy always had a beautiful smile and warm heart when she visited the office pulling up in her purple flamed out Chrysler PT Cruiser lol. To the family she's at peace now and I know first hand on the feeling of losing a mother, grandmother etc.., she doesn't want you all to be sad but to rejoice and celebrate her home going. Rest in peace Ms. Peggy, Godspeed to the family.

I have had the honor and privilege of knowing and being friends with Dinna and her family since 1975. I remember first meeting Peggy at that time and was amazed at what a lovely and talented Mom she was. Always cooking something amazing, always smiling, always there when you needed her. Peggy was truly an Angel on earth, a lovely bright star, a compassionate friend and guardian angel for her children, grandchildren and family. I will always remember her smile, the twinkle in her beautiful eyes and the many enjoyable conversations we've had over the years. I will miss her, but know that she is in the arms of a loving God.
My heart and prayers go out to my dearest best friend, Dinna, and her family.

I first met Peggy in 1986 while planning a wedding. She had a beautiful personality and great laugh. I have been with her numerous times since and always enjoyed her company. I was deeply saddened to learn of her passing.
Dinna, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time.

To the descendants of my sister, Peggy Marie Hughes, and to my dearest brother Alfred Dee Hughes. I share with you the deep sorrow we are called upon at the loss of our beloved sister, mother, friend, and relative . Be greatly comforted by the assurance which Jesus Christ gives to us in knowing that we shall see our Lord and loved one again, for Jesus Christ says: "Because I live, ye shall live also." I will remember my childhood living with my siblings and Mom and Dad; a memory that gives me comfort by the affection and esteem in which our family held each other. I love you, Peggy. I will miss you greatly. Your sister with love, Edna Earl Hughes.
