
Quinten Mitchell Goins, 47, passed away surrounded by the love of his family and friends.
Quinten was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend whose greatest joy in life was his family. He shared a loving marriage with his wife, Christine Goins, and took immense pride in his children: Taylor Goins (Katie), Cody Layne (Hannah), Madison Goins (Mark Mallette), Kaelyn Sateren, and Oakley Goins. He was also a proud Pops to six beautiful grandchildren: Ava, Lila, Blakelee, Brynleigh, Kashton, and Jayce, each of whom brought him endless happiness.
Quinten had a generous heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He would drop everything to help family, friends, or even someone he had just met, because to Quinten, no one was ever a stranger. His kindness, compassion, and willingness to serve others left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
For many years, Quinten was a dedicated employee at Heights Lumber & Supply, where he was respected for his hard work, dependability, and the relationships he built with coworkers and customers alike.
Quinten was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Christine Goins; his children, Taylor Goins (Katie), Cody Layne (Hannah), Madison Goins (Mark Mallette), Kaelyn Sateren, and Oakley Goins; his six cherished grandchildren, Ava, Lila, Blakelee, Brynleigh, Kashton, and Jayce; two siblings (one brother & one sister); his in-laws; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; extended family in Tennessee and bonus family in Texas, all of whom will forever cherish his memory.
Quinten's legacy is one of love, generosity, and unwavering devotion to those he cared about. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by his kindness. Though his presence will be greatly missed, the love he shared and the memories he created will remain in the hearts of those who loved him forever.
Visitation will be held at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home, 1615 South Fort Hood Road, Killeen, TX, on July 24, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
