That was more than a decade ago and I remembered that day so vividly because of your smile. You carried that smile to the end. You left your family and all of us with that legacy-a legacy of love and hope and for that I am forever thankful for being blessed with your grace and strength. You were loved in life as you will be in spirit. Rest now our beloved Mama Mona for you are in God's hands.

My heart aches for the loss of a beautiful woman who struggled to fight cancer until the end. Auntie Mona was strong not just for herself but for her family. I miss her already. Last conversation we had was when I told her that I love her ans she responded,
