Raymond "Ray" Logan
September 1, 1950 – August 14, 2016
After a long and hard battle with Liver and Brain Cancer, Raymond “Ray” Logan, 65 passed from this life on Sunday August 14, 2016 at 12 Noon. Ray was born September 1, 1950 to Junior and Vivian Logan in Adrian, MI. On December 9, 1995 he married Theresa Naivar Logan.
After 28 years with the United States Army, Ray retired and worked for Williams Fence, and Northrup Grunman, through this time he worked on the Ding Dong Ranch and Donkey Spa, along with Theresa they enjoyed many happy moments working on their land and the home they so dearly loved. He also enjoyed traveling in their RV each summer, to get away from the Texas heat and discovering the beauty of the United States of America. Ray and Theresa worked as Volunteers at several North Dakota State Parks acting as the Camp Host for Camping Sessions. When not on the road Ray enjoyed his family and his grandchildren, baking special desserts and Christmas Treats for family and friends, cooking award winning pots of Chili, and judging BBQ Cook-offs.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his father-in-law and mother-in-law.
Ray is survived by his wife, Theresa; daughter, Samie Gentles and husband Jamie; sons: Clayton Logan and wife Katelyn, Joe Komandosky and wife Christine, and Scott Komandosky and wife Kirsten; grandchildren: Aidan Logan, Lily Gentles, Adam Komandosky, Justin Komandosky, Olivia Komandosky, Paul Yevcak, Nick Yevcak, Sadey Komandosky, and Alyssa Komandosky; one great grandson, Abel Yevcak; brothers: Dick Logan (Audrey), Tom Logan (Jeannie), David Logan (Terri), Roger Logan(Barb), Bob Logan (Donna) and Gary Logan (Joyce); sisters: Brenda Dixon(David) and Bonnie Logan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sunday August 21, 2016 at Crawford Bowers Funeral Home.
Celebration of Life Services will be 9:30 a.m., Monday August 22, 2016 also at the funeral home.
Interment will follow at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery.
A special thank you to Gary and Joyce Logan for their endless time and love, given in our time of need.
Memorials may be made in Ray’s name to the American Cancer Society.

I knew Ray when he was stationed in Germany; we were neighbors, and I watched Sami, before Clay was born. My condolences to Sami, Clay and the Logan family.

I haven't see Ray in probably 40 years, but I have such warm, vivid memories of time spent with him. I especially remember playing cards at Vivian's house. It sounds like he had a great life. He was a wonderful person. My deepest condolences.
