Dear Brenda and Family,
What a special person Ray was. He could always keep us laughing when sharing his "police" stories. But then could be serious sharing his love of Jesus and His calling. It was always good to "catch up" at General Assembly. May God strengthen and encourage you daily. We look forward to a grand reunion some day.

Brenda and Family,
I know this time for you is filled with mixed feelings: sadness on Ray's passing from you and this personal, physical life mixed with the celebration and praise that he is in the arms of Jesus. Our prayer for you and your family is that you continue to sense the comfort of the Holy Spirit as He caries you on this journey.
Memories: Ray shared his history of being in a fast draw contest with a TV Gunslinger. Ray beat him to the draw and blew out his TV with one shot! What a guy! The last time I saw him was in a previous pastorate that you folks pastored after i left, Willits, CA. He showed me around the new worship center and shared how the Lord had been blessing the congregation and your ministry with growth and grace, May the love and grace of God fill your lives with hope and faith as you trust Him step by step.

Our love and prayers are with you
Gene and Bev Archer, Bakersfield, CA.

Raymond was my pastor, and freind. He had a big part helping me with my walk in following Jesus.
He always had a warm smile that made you smile back. I know he’s got that smile on his face now in the presence of the Lord.
Without a doubt He will be missed greatly.
We now have a new angel watching over us.
My prayers go out to his wife and family.

Raymond was a good friend and neighbor at Nazarene Bible College. Throughout the years Raymond has touched the lives of untold multitudes.
We will miss his big smile and gentle voice but rejoice that he has reached the goal of his faith and has been welcomed into, the Kingdom of Heaven with a “Well done good and faithful servant ...”.

May our Lord comfort you and encourage you as a family in these days.
