MSG (Ret) Reuben Robinson

Ret. MSG. Reuben Robinson, 76, of Killeen passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2014 in Killeen. Services for Mr. Robinson will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at 10:30 AM at St. Luke United Methodist Church in Killeen, Texas with Pastor Chansoon Lim officiating. Burial with Full Military Honors will follow at 12:00 Noon at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.

Mr. Robinson was born in Jefferson, Texas on February 9, 1938 to Obie and Bessie Mae Ervin Robinson. He was raised and attended schools in Jefferson. Upon graduation, Reuben joined the Army and served proudly for over 24 years, seeing action in Korea during the Korean War. He met Chun Cha Park while in Korea and they were married on December 29, 1964. He and his wife settled into life in Killeen in 1966. After retiring from the Army in 1984, Mr. Robinson went to work for the Postal Department of the Civil Service on Ft. Hood and worked there until his retirement in 2008. He enjoyed fishing and was an avid hunter and outdoorsman.

Mr. Robinson is survived by his loving wife of almost 50 years, Chun Robinson.
