

A Mass of Christian Burial for CSM (Ret) Richard D. Clark will be held 11am Friday February 3, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church located at 2903 Rancier Ave., Killeen, TX. Burial will follow at Killeen Memorial Park
CSM (Ret) Richard D Clark passed away at the age of 77 on January 27th 2017 at the Regal Health Care Residence of Lampasas after a long illness with Dementia. Mr. Clark was born October 1st, 1939 to Thomas and Elizabeth Clark of Queens, New York and retired making his home in Harker Heights since 1974.
Survivors include his beloved wife of over 57 years Marion (Popi) Clark, beloved son Richard Clark daughter in-law Loquita Clark, sons Raymond Clark, Michael Clark and Richard Trupiano, cherished grandchildren Kealey Rae Clark, Brianna Clark and Garrett Clark, his sisters Elizabeth Clark of Florida, Patricia Murray of Virginia and numerous other family members and friends.
Richard retired from the Military retiring in 1985 as a Command SGT Major at Fort Hood, Texas
Earning the following awards while on active duty, The Legion of Merit // Meritorious Service Medal (w/2 Oak Leaf Cluster)// Army Commendations Medal//(w/Oak Leaf Cluster)// Army Achievement Medal (w/2 Oak Leaf Cluster)// Good Conduct Medal (w/Silver, 3 Loops) National Defense Service Medal// Army Service Ribbon//Overseas Service Ribbon(Numerar3)// Meritorious Unit Commendation//NCO Professional Development Ribbon(Number5)// Driver and Mechanic Badge(w/driver-W)// German Army Marksman in Bronze//. Mr. Clark retired in 2010 from his Real Estate Home Inspection Service doing home inspections throughout Central Texas.
He will be remembered for performing Elvis tributes as an Elvis impersonator all over the country to include Cancun, Mexico and as a world traveler with his family seeing all of Europe while being stationed overseas. His interest was staying physically fit, the Dallas Cowboys, Notre Dame Football and spending time with many family members to include those in New York, Florida, Washington, Michigan and Texas.
The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Thursday February 2, 2017 at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen
