I been scared to post on this because of the memories of the  good times we shared. To anyone who sees this, I want you to know this was good man, and a patriotic American loved by all he came in contact with. Rich, AO1, Hold that Beer for Me!

AO1 George, I just heard today that you left us. I'm very sad to hear about what happened. You were a great shipmate and it was a privilege serving under you. All of us at VX-23 in Pax River thought very highly of you as a very dear friend. You're in God's memory shipmate.

I'm am so sadden By The loss of Richard:( I just posted a pic of our 6th grade graduation.  My sister and I were naming out our classmates, and he was the first one we called out....-.- it really breaks my heart. He was a dear classmate.  Ms George and family please accept my belated condolences.

My dear, dear friend, I never met Richard, but I felt I knew him from hearing you talk about him.  My heart aches for you and his family.  I'm sorry I didn't know about this sooner, but know that you are in my prayers.  Much love, Joyce

Richard was loved by all of us in and out of NWHS.  He always laughed and made us feel good.  We have special memories, one of which was of me cutting a twig of his hair because it would not lie down when we were taking cap and gown pictures!  It was a pleasure to have taught Richard in his 9th and 12th grade English class. We had a lot of good times in spite of writing term papers! I pray that your loving memories will bring comfort.

I havent seen Richard in years, but we had quite a few great times while still in school. My heart goes out to his entire family. R.I.P. Richard, you will be missed.

It was always a pleasure to see Richard in the office. Although my time working with him was brief, Richard always had good conversation and a great disposition. His down-to-earth personality and genuine spirit will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

I was so saddened to hear about Richard.  It instantly brought up many memories from high school.  He had a great sense of humor even joking about learning how to dance with his mom.  Even though we have not been in touch in many years, he will be greatly missed.  May God bless each of you and may you find peace in his loving arms.

To Ms. Robbie, Richard's wife and children, I am so sorry for your loss, I hope you will eventually find peace.  Richard was kind, sweet and funny.  Never a dull moment when he was around, with him being friends with Eric, Terry and James I was able to be around him a lot in high school.  Richard was like a big brother always looking out for me.  There are many memoires, too many to put in words.  I say this with love:  Van Halen will always be number one and you will always be like a brother.  May you now rest in peace Richard.

I was so sad to hear of Richard's passing. I also went to NWHS with him but didn't really get to know him until we worked together at The Waverly House restaurant.  Although we didn't think so at the time, we had a lot of fun times there.  He was a a good guy and a great friend. He will be missed.  Prayers for your family.
