Robert William "Bob" Deorsam Jr.

Funeral services for Robert William “Bob” Deorsam, Jr., age 77, of Killeen will be at 10:30 am Monday, April 23, at Skyline Baptist Church in Killeen with Bro. Jack Husung, Sr. officiating. He will be buried in the Killeen City Cemetery.

Mr. Deorsam died April 19 at a local nursing home. He was born July 19, 1934 in Bell County to Robert and Fern Deorsam, Sr. He graduated from Killeen High school in 1951 and retired from the U. S. Postal Service in 1990 after 31 years.

Mr. Deorsam was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Virginia Ann Jordan.

Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Juanell Williams Deorsam; a son, Michael, (wife Grace) of Belton; a daughter Pam Hays, (husband John) of Euless; a step-daughter, Ronda Reese Leal (husband, Oscar) of Georgetown; a stepson, Paul Reese (wife, Tammy) of Burnet; two sisters, Sue Phillips of Lampasas and Nita Booras; one brother, Randy Deorsam, of Killeen; three grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

The family will be at the church a half an hour before and an hour after the service for a time of visitation.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Skyline Baptist Church Building fund, 906 Trimmier, Killeen, TX 76541 or a charity of one’s choice.

Arrangements for Mr. Deorsam are under the direction of Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home of Killeen.
