Robert was a 20-year U.S. Army veteran and a faithful member of Charis Church. A skilled auto mechanic, he enjoyed building models, watching westerns, and traveling to Las Vegas. He also had a deep love for animals and music.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Margaret Mugrage and Larry McEldowney.
He is survived by his wife, Chong Ok McEldowney, son, Michael McEldowney (Lisa A. Reidzans-McEldowney), daughters, Jeannie L. McEldowney and Donna J. McEldowney, brother, Harry McEldowney Jr. (Carla McEldowney), and a large extended family residing in West Virginia and Ohio.
Services will be held 11:00 am Thursday, March 26, 2026, at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.
