Aunt Roberta had a relaxed and natural sense of humor. Spending time with her and Lewis was fun. I never had the chance to go fishing with her.Lewis said she always knew where to find where the trout were hiding. We think of you fondly and will forever miss you.

New buds on the tree,
Of our family, is spring.
Special loves--New beginnings
Such promise they bring.

Tender leaves unfold slowly.
Into summer they grow.
Strong with youthful ambitions.
Green leaves--eager to know.

Then into the autumn
Blow gold leaves of life.
Free time for life's pleasures,
Take life to new heights.

In the winter of life
Gold leaves wither and fade.
Falling back to the earth,
Empty shells in the shade.

Souls rise and soar freely.
Feeling peace--Free of pain.
Loving spirits to guide them,
They await their next spring.

So incredibly sad to learn of Roberta's passing today. My husband and I lived next door to Lew and Roberta here in Emmett, and when they moved to Texas, we bought their home, where we live today. A picture of Lew and Roberta hangs in our living room, and we think of them often. They were wonderful neighbors and friends. Our oldest son was only 3 1/2 when they moved, and our youngest son was not yet born, but they both know "Mr. and Mrs. Haney" well. Roberta, you were the most wonderful neighbor and friend. We will always love you. Sending all of our love to Lew. -Heather, Steve, Camden, and Griffin Arnett
