

Polly was born September 9, 1917 in Coryell County, Texas to Tom A. Chambers and Sally (Black) Chambers.
She was the wife of the late O.C. Bunnell.
Polly was a member of Skyline Baptist Church in Killeen for many years. She worked as a nurse for Killeen ISD for many years until her retirement. She enjoyed china painting, sewing, crouching, and spending time with her family.
She was the founding member of Eastern Star Chapter 1005 O.E.S. in Gatesville, was a member of the Eastern Star in Killeen and was a member of the American Business Women’s Association.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter, Charlotte Morgan, two brothers and a sister.
Polly is survived by a son, Charles Bunnell and his wife Tana of Kempner; son in-law, Don Morgan of Killeen; three grandchildren, David Morgan and his wife Theresa of Round Rock, Donna Morgan of Copperas Cove, Malea Hartley and her husband Blu of Gatesville; four great grandchildren, Alex Morgan, Charlie Bunnell, Frankie Miller and Bandy Blu Hartley and one sister, Helen Lipsey and her husband Jack of Gatesville.
The Bunnell family will receive guests for a time of visitation from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 19, 2011 in the chapel of Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen with Pastor Jack Husung, Sr. officiating. Graveside services will be 3 p.m. in Restland Cemetery in Gatesville.
Serving as pallbearers will be Ollie Henderson, Buck Stewart, Otis Bible, Don Caffey, Bobby Carroll, Terry McCarver and Tim McCarver.
