

Seth Logan Olmstead, 25, a beloved husband, son, brother, nephew, grandson, and friend, passed away on August 12, 2026 in Salado, Texas. He was born March 2, 2001 in Heidelberg, Germany. Seth was raised in Bell County, where he grew a love for aviation at an early age. He dreamed of becoming a pilot, and that dream came to fruition in 2023 when Seth joined the Army as an AH-64 Apache pilot.
Prior to his military service, Seth graduated from Harker Heights High School, where he met lifelong friends and his high school sweetheart, Lauren Wolf. Seth was known for his huge heart, bright smile, and wonderful sense of humor. He made friends wherever he went, and to know Seth was to love him.
Seth and Lauren were married in November 2025. Their shared life was full of love, laughter, faith, and an appreciation for every moment they had together.
In his free time, Seth enjoyed snowboarding, playing video games, listening to music, and riding his motorcycle. He loved spending time with his family, friends, and the people closest to him.
Seth is survived by his wife, Lauren Wolf; his parents, Lesley and Carl Olmstead; his brothers, Caleb Olmstead and Austin Olmstead; his aunt, Marianne “Mimi” Arriaga; his grandparents, and many loving family members and friends. He also leaves behind Scarlett and Violett; his beloved dogs.
Seth will be remembered for his kind heart, bright smile, sense of humor, and the joy he brought to everyone around him. He lived his life pursuing and accomplishing his dreams and left a lasting impression on all who knew him. He was too well loved to ever be forgotten, and we will carry him in our hearts for the rest of our lives.
Seth’s viewing will be held from 5:00-8:00 pm on September 7, 2026 at Crawford- Bowers Funeral home in Killeen, Texas. His funeral will be at 10:00 am on September 8, 2026 at the same location, followed by a graveside service with full military honors at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery.
