Funeral services for Suzanne Marie La Lone, 81, of Killeen will be 12 pm Monday, August 12, 2024 at Bethel Church Worship Center, 997 Stagecoach Line Road, Killeen, TX 76542. A visitation will be at 11 am at the church. Burial will follow at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery at 2 pm.
Mrs. La Lone passed away on July 27, 2024 at her home. She was born Kim Do Cha in Japan to her Korean parents Kim Chae Op and Kim Pu I on July 25, 1943.
She was a devoted wife and mother. Suk-He loved going to church whenever she could and also loved tending to her floral garden. She married John La Lone July 7, 1965 in Seoul, Korea.
Suk-He was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers; Kim Il Su and Kim Young Su; one sister, Kim Tong Hae.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, John Robert La Lone, a son, Jonathon La Lone of Masan, Korea; sisters; Min Jung Kim of Pusan, Korea, Jenny Campbell of Waterville, Ohio and Kimberly Musgrove of Biloxi, Mississippi; brothers: Kim Hung Su of Pusan, Korea, Kim Chul Su of Pusan, Korea; a grandson, Joshua Kim and a granddaughter, Ruth Kim of Masan, Korea, and six nephews and one niece.
