My heart truly breaks for his family and his parents. I knew him when he was a young boy living outside of Washington DC. Because his family had been such a comfort to me in those days, I often stopped and pictured in my mind what would happen especially for that straight, dutiful young man of twelve, so sweet. I knew only great things would happen for him. My love and deepest sympathy go out to his parents, Estell and Diane. Over the passing years, I would always keep track, as best I could, of the members of that memorable family. When I reached out this time, I discovered that this painful event had taken place and one part of my own heart broke because I could not meet the man the boy became once again. May God bless you all and have you know that Terry is with you always.

Terry's passing reminds me just how significant he was in the lives of great American aviation pilots, crews, teams, companies, battalions and brigades, whose calm professionalism trained and mentored junior enlisted and warrants to field grade commanding officers in just about any condition imaginable. A truly great Amercian patriot that touched so many lives. All who served with hm are better for it. His unexpected loss hurts so many because his impact was so broad and lasting. Rest in peace, sir.

To the Brewer Family: I had the distinct honor of serving with Terry from 2006-2008 in C Co, 3-227 AHB. He is one of the most professional Soldiers I have ever served with and I am better for knowing him. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this sad time.

In times like these, we all search for a comfort that seems to elude us, or to find the right words to speak which, quite simply, do not exist. But we understand that we are here for each other, and it is in that strength, hope and togetherness that we find a faith and trust in God, believing that we will all find our way through this loss, one day at a time. Terry will be fondly remembered and sadly missed, as both a professional mentor and a personal friend.

I served in South Korea with Terry in 1993 in the Red Barons and later in the 1st Cavalry Division. Terry was an exceptional Army Aviator and trainer whose professionalism, dedication, and meticulous attention to detail earned him a stellar reputation. Terry instilled these virtues in those around him and they will live on in the many aircrews he has trained over the years. Today the world has lost a great man and the Army has lost a great Aviator. He will be deeply missed.

My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. I can't express my sorrow for your loss, I didn't know Terry as well as I wish I had. But, I know he was a wonderful father to his boys and it shows in the strong men they have become. I will forever be grateful that the Lord made him Maya's father in law not to mention the loving and caring Papa to Keira and Anthony. With sincere condolences to the Brewer family during this difficult time. I know how painful losing a family member can be with the recent loss of my mother however my mom had been sick for a long time and it was expected. Losing Terry a proud soldier, husband, father and grand father in the prime of his life is very heart breaking. I never really got to know your father Cyle, I think we met twice the first time when you bought your motorcycle from me and the second was your graduation from the police academy. I saw him as being super friendly and personable. I know the lord called him home much to soon but feel comfort knowing you gave him so so much to be proud of.
With love and prayers
