A service will be held on November 3 at 2 pm at Crawford-Bower Funeral Home in Killeen led by Pastor John David, his nephew. A memorial will be held immediately following the service to celebrate his life at the VFW in Harker Heights.
Tommy was a man full of purpose and determination. He was a loving father, brother, uncle, “PawPaw”, and friend. His greatest accomplishments were the drive that he inherently left with his children and the births of his four granddaughters.
If you knew Tommy, you knew that it was best to contact him after the stock market closed for the day (and he would remind you if you ever forgot). His passion was for waking up every morning and reviewing/studying market trends and potential buy-outs. Tommy loved history and had a knack for remembering dates and names like no other.
His friends and family will remember him as a loyal and devoted person who loved each and every one of them in their own special way. The world is full of interesting and diverse characters, and this character will be missed very much by all who loved him.
He is survived by his daughter Shelley Lynn Branch O’Brien of Flower Mound, Texas, son and daughter in law Brandon Mitchell “Duke” Branch and Nicole Branch of Saginaw, Texas, granddaughters Ashlynn, Courtney, Rylee, and Taylar Branch, and two brothers and four sisters, Milton and Mike Branch, Lou Rhodes, Judy Branch Harbert, Kay Barron and Ann Galvin, and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Tommy was preceded in death by father Milton Branch, Sr., mother Hattie Mae Branch, step father Gale Stapleton, and bother John David Branch.
