Tony and Nina Means

Services for Anthony Ladon "Tony" Means, 37, of Killeen will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church in Killeen with Dr. Randy Wallace officiating. Interment services will follow at the Killeen City Cemetery. Mr. Means died April 28, 2011, at his residence.

He was born April 27, 1974, in Indianapolis, Ind., to Kelvin Anthony Means and Doris J. (Harris) Means.

He attended high school in Berlin, Germany. He served in the United States Army and was a computer technician.

He is survived by his mother, Doris S. Rochelle and her husband, Melvin L; his father, Kelvin Anthony Means; a brother, Clair Eugene Wilson Jr.; three nephews, Demetrius, Davon and Demonte; and a niece, Ebony Nicole Wilson.

The Means family will receive guests for a time of visitation from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. prior to the service on Friday at the First Baptist Church in Killeen.

Tony was one of the many students I saw at the Guthrie Job Corps Center. He was so special to all of us and he will be truly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his and Nina's family.

Doris, I'm so sorry for your loss, and I'm sorry for not being able to be there to offer my condolences in person, but I have a medical appt I couldn't change.
My wife and I will pray for you and hope you remain strong in this terrible time of sorrow.
Try to get past this, as time passes the pain will lessen, but will never go away, so think more of the good times you had with your son and that precious little girl.
