I have been trying to think of my favorite memory of Tyler, but I have so many it is hard to choose.

Tyler always had a way with words. Whether it was words of wisdom when I was having a bad day, trying to get me to smile when I was down, or even his cheesy pick up lines he would send me almost every day. My favorite pick up line was "you're the only girl I love now...... but in 10 years I'll love another....and she'll be calling you mommy." No matter what it was I knew that Tyler would make me smile.

At Tyler's celebration of life, the pastor mentioned how Tyler had many nick names. One that you may not have heard of was "Fishy". He was sleeping one morning and I jumped on his bed to wake him up and said "fishy.. why are you sleeping" which is a line from Nemo. Since then, I called him fishy and he always responded with freckles.

Like I said, it's hard to pick just one memory. But, they will never be forgotten. Tyler was and always will be my best friend. I love you Fishy. I hope you're beating God in a round of Golf.

Never had the honor to have known Tyler in person however I felt I knew him……heard wonderful stories over the years about his golf, his college and coaching through his Pawpaw and JJ. Remarkable young man.

Tyler made an immediate impression on those he met whether as a coach, friend, N3❤️, or mentor. His infectious smile, our fence conversations, and watching him pursue his dreams are just a few things that I will miss beyond measure. June and Randy; he embodied your strength, dedication, passion, and commitment. Tyler was blessed because you allowed him to follow his heart and supported him in ALL of his endeavors. I’m thankful God allowed our paths to cross and I had the opportunity to gain a nephew not by blood but by LOVE! N3 you will be missed but not forgotten!

Time

Time is the enemy of man
For we don't know where it will end
Days filled with such promise and hope
Often beyond our reach and scope
Early mornings of green grass the fairway calls
Seeing the math in the slopes that to the hole carries the ball
Clubs galore to stay off the fringe and out of the rough
Much like a golf course life can be tough
But when it's in your blood and calling
Far from the 1st to the 18th the beautiful course sprawling
On heavens course he now plays were the Son forever is bright
Playing forever the game he loved in that golden light...

My fondest memory of Tyler & myself. We saw each other everyday at Rockwind Links Golf Course and we shared our ideas about how we can help our golfers get better! We would go have a great Mexican dinner and break down on a scale of 1-10 of the restaurant and would we go there again! It was our little
 "food game".

After dinner we would sit in his truck and break down how his teams strengths and what he was trying to help them get better at. We talked about making the schedule better and I was giving him ideas to continue fundraising to create the the best opportunities possible for these golfers!

Tyler loved being the Head Coach and his golfers responded positively to his efforts everyday! I miss him and I miss our daily practices, dinners, and our friendship. God Bless you Tyler and I know you are my angel and I know you are looking over me I'm still here in Hobbs chasing this dream of winning Championships! That's all we wanted was to make the most of everyday we had together!!!

I always appreciated Tyler's enthusiasm for our sport. When I met him as a player- as a competitor, you could tell he was enjoying the moments. Then as a coach, his enthusiasm to learn and ask questions to grow his craft made such an impression. It was an honor for me to have him reach out to me to ask questions. The fact that he thought enough of our relationship to do that is a blessing that won't ever go away.

Tyler was a great kid and it was always a good day when we worked together. His goofy smile could really make your day. Sending my condolences just doesn't seem to be enough...

Coach James was the best coach I ever had. He would always check on us to make sure we are doing good. He made my love for the game of golf get bigger and always sees high expectations for me and my teammates. Every time we needed him on and off the course he would be there and would even take us to dinner. Til next time coach❤️

We were all so sad to hear about Tyler's passing. He had such a good heart. Both Aaron and Andrew have fond memories of playing golf with Tyler from their younger days, but especially from college. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. With deepest sympathy, The Errico Family

My deepest condolences to the family. I met Tyler a couple years ago when he was at ETBU and we have since kept in touch.

Our deepest sympathy for your family! My gradson Kaleb Brown was very close to your son.
He called him pops and they talked several times a week. He will be deeply missed! I pray for help in this great time of sorrow for all, God keep you and give you comfort, Amen!!
