Victor Santana, a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully at his home on June 9, 2026, at the age of 44, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on September 18, 1981, in Temple, Texas, Victor was a beacon of strength and joy to all who knew him.

He was predeceased by his grandparents, Juan and Lourdes Ortiz, his uncles Manuel Medrano Sr. and Byron Copeland Sr., his aunt Noelia Ortiz, his father-in-law Charles Moss, and stepson Maximillion Jones. Despite these profound losses, Victor carried their memories forward with love and resilience.
On June 8, 2007, Victor married the love of his life, Cheryle Moss, in Killeen, Texas. Their marriage of 19 years was a testament to their deep friendship, love, and laughter. Together, they had a family filled with warmth and joy, stepchildren DiAndre, Samantha, and Danielle, and welcoming four precious grandchildren, Dre, Sasha, Quincy, and Dre’Vaughn, who were the light of Victor's life.

Victor was known for his vibrant personality and infectious sense of humor. A jokester at heart, he loved to laugh and bring joy to those around him. Family was central to Victor's life, and he treasured every moment spent with them. Whether he was in the kitchen cooking up a feast, drawing, enjoying music, or cheering for his favorite teams—the Dallas Cowboys and San Antonio Spurs—Victor was happiest when surrounded by loved ones. He would always tell stories of summers spent in Detroit with his uncle and all his cousins Dempsito Ortiz and Miguel Ortiz and the time he spent with his cousins Juan Carlos Ortiz, Gary Medrano and Manuel Medrano.
He leaves behind a loving family, including his devoted wife Cheryle, his beloved siblings Yvonne and Damaris, his nephew Giovanni, his loving children, and his cherished grandchildren.
