Virginia Sullivan

Mrs. Sullivan died April 10, 2013, at her residence in the arms of her loving son. She was born Dec. 19, 1927, in Belton.

She graduated from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor with a degree in education. She enjoyed 35 years of teaching with the Killeen Independent School District.

She was a faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic Church for many years.

Mrs. Sullivan was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Naismith and Laura (Pierce) Naismith; her husband, James T. Sullivan; and her daughter, Cynthia Lowery Signorelli.

Survivors include her son, Tom Lowery and his wife, Melissa, of Killeen; two grandchildren, Lisa Shelton and her husband, Gregg, of St. George, Utah, and Amanda Martin of Killeen; and two great-grandchildren, Ashley and Jeremy Shelton, both of St. George, Utah.
