Ms. Santana died Sept. 19, 2010, at a Temple hospital. She was born April 27, 1956, in Ponce, Puerto Rico.
Ms. Santana is a 1974 graduate of Killeen High School.
Survivors include her children, Yvonne Candelario, Victor Manuel Santana and Damaris Santana; grandson, Giovanni Candelario; parents, Juan and Lourdes Ortiz; siblings, Noelia Gonzalez and Daniel of Killeen, William Ortiz and Trixi of Copperas Cove, Dempsey Ortiz and Nancy of Anthem, Ariz., and Nancy Sanchez and Ivan of Hewitt.
