SFC Wayne Lee McMillan

After a long battle with cancer Retired SFC Wayne Lee McMillan went to be with the lord on June 10th 2012. Wayne is preceded in death by his Father, John McMillan and brother, Floyd Mattox.

Wayne is survived by his wife Donna McMillan of Killeen TX, sons; Michael(Danielle) McMillan of Mansfield PA, Wayne McMillan Jr of Killeen Tx, Keanan Tjelmeland of Chandler AZ, Brandon McMillan of Copperas Cove TX, Arnold Washington of Austin TX, daughter; Nicole Smith of Shaw AFB, SC and grandchildren; Izaiah, Lukas and Laila McMillan of Mansfield PA.

He is also survived by his Mother, Mattie Mattox, his brothers; James, Willey, Herman, Mark (Mary Ann) and his Sisters; Shirley, Janet, Elecia(Carlton), Johna(Pete), Theresa all of New York.

Wayne was a N.C.O in the United State Army, and retired after 21 years of service with the classification of Sergeant First Class. He loved playing poker, throwing darts and spending time with his family. Wayne also was a rabid football fan as long as his beloved Dallas Cowboys were playing.

The McMillan family will receive guests for a time of visitation on Thursday, June 14, 2012 from 10 AM – 12 Noon at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home of Killeen. A Graveside service with full Military honors will be held on Thursday, June 14, 2012 at 1:00 PM in the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery.
