Well where do I start Renee it's Kim I miss every moment we shared as room mates and u being my sister. I know your  in heaven with your dad grandmother and grandfather uncles and whomever else. I miss u so much words can't explain. We had so much that we did together I never thought u would be the first of mama's angels to go life isn't the same without you. I still look at your pictures and everything that you set me when living in Texas. The Lord had plans for you so he needed you up in heaven with him.❤️💜 I think about you a lot reminiscing of the times we shared as sisters we traveled together from state to state and I thank you. Your son and daughter is doing well living their life and your a grandmother now yeah lol TJ is going to be a daddy and he's taken on being married. Cierra is doing her thing in Florida but I'm sure you're keeping up with them. It just wasn't fair for u to leave us  but I know the Lord had better plans for you, since you been gone so much has taken place. I've seen several people that looks like you and I wanted them to be you so much but there's only one you and one of a kind. 2/4/2016 as of 2/21/2016 looks like another chapter in "Gypsy"  (my nickname for her) life will be coming to and end. I just want to thank the family for sharing her with me.  I miss her but I am glad she is cancer free.  No more chemo no more burning dragon in her chest no more radiation no more pills no more needles.  Yes she left behind a lot of friends and family and a lot of memories. I never heard her sing but was told she could so I am sure she is singing in that heavenly choir or directing it lol. they say people come in your life for a reason or a season.  Have not figured out what the reason was but her season to me was short. i know she is strutting because she does not have that limp and she got that figure back. well later my friend I love you to the moon and back and until we meet again   LATER NOT BYE...............

I did not forget your anniversary in Heaven.  I sent a message don't know why it did not post.  However Happy one Year Anniversary in Heaven. It does not seem like it has been a year but I'm sure every body still miss you, your smile, your laughter and you telling Daddy to get them because they were bothering you. The little rat still visit the draw every now and then (inside joke no real rat). I just don't understand why they can not find a cure for CANCER.  It has taken and still taking people away from here.   If any of Ylonda family memebers see this message please tell the children I said hello.

This morning 1 year ago my sister told her Daddy(as she would call him)in heaven that she was tired and wanted to rest from her labor, so He reached down from heaven with his hand and closed her eyes. Today her family will celebrate her life and release balloons in the air to honor her memory, that will forever be in our hearts... This month I've celebrated my baby turning 18

Being here an see the kids often reminds me more an more how much I really miss my boo boo. So today when I wake an think of you, I think of the months that have past so fast an a year is coming up an I don't know how I will handle it cause you left me so fast. I wish you were here but I know God makes no mistakes an you are in a better place, no more pain, no more medicine an no more struggles. Boo Boo I love an miss you so much . Several months have gone by quickly and in that time we are reminded that one of the youngest has actually moved on. The only comfort in that is knowing that Renee is not struggling with anything anymore. Your strength, courage and belief has been rewarded. Your laughter, smile and candid personality is remembered by all that love and cared for you. Your sisters and brothers miss you; one of us has moved on. The small jester of love made in remembrance of you at any of our family gathering is to show that you are not forgotten. Miss the early morning talks and laughter that was too short but sweet. Constant thoughts of my sister. Love to you.

Sometimes I think is this really real, then in my mind I hear your soft voice telling me I'm ok baby.. I know you are looking down on us as we are looking and praying to u. Still seems unreal that you are no longer with us. I think of you often and I think of the kids, I know they are being taken care of and  you are at peace with that.  I can still here you saying Nessa they messing with me and daddy is gonna get them.  The only peace I find in this is you are pain free... no more medicine no more scan no more raditon....until we meet again   later

This Memorial Day weekend my thoughts are with you. I miss you dear friend!! Though you are no longer with us physically, your spirit lives deeply in our hearts :-)

Mother Day was yesterday an instead of being here you were our angel/mother in heaven. My sister  I miss you an I enjoyed having the kids spend Mother's Day with me It was priceless. So my angel Happy Mother's Day gone but never never forgotten....  Love you boo boo!!!!!

Mother's Day is here and your children are happy and been well taken care of due the step that you took as their mother while you where here and providing for them and showing them your love. Knowing that you are at peace this Mother's Day may I still say "HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY"!

A mother leaves her child behind never to see her face on this side again. Traveling back home as the sun rises in the morning sky that is all "PINK" a mother says her daughter is sending her a message that "SHE IS ALRIGHT NOW!". Your mother was on her way again, just to come and help out, to lend a hand in caring for you, but just hours and miles away it was not meant to be. Ylonda no longer needs help, but her smile remains in our hearts. If we had known this day would come so soon, we would have had one more picnic in the park. Watch over your Mom, she loves you so.

What a beautiful smile. I did not get a chance to meet her, but by being friends with her sister, Diane, I knew that she was a child of God. RIP.

With the passing of my sister there is great sadness. Ylonda showed a tremendous strength during her battle. And knowing from where her strength came she knew with whom to leave that battle with "her Daddy". Her courage, faith, steadfastness, smiles and laughter through just this pass year not to mention from the beginning should and will remind us all that there is something greater waiting for us all. Ylonda had faith that her Daddy would heal her "and her Daddy did just that". I will miss you "Peta"... the laughter that we all would share no matter what else would be in the mist. To those that loved and cared for Ylonda in Chapel Hill NC, Ylonda cared for you all, she would tell me in our conversations in the wee hours of the morning that you all helped her survive and that would even include "Daryl". The network of folks that my sister had around her in Chapel Hill was unimaginable and our sisters blessing from God and for that Ylonda's family thanks and appreciates you all. Demiraha, Teresa, Kerstin and to her attending physician, many blessings to you and so many more of you that I cannot name. Ylonda is well now and more "sexy" then ever in her newness that only her Daddy "our Father in Heaven" can bestow on His own. I am so sad that my sister is not here on this earth, but rejoicing that her joy come early one morning and she no longer has to suffer. Ylonda was well prepared. A lesson for us all. We love you, our sister, and will see each other again. Very grateful for this past year just talking with my sister. Thank you, Jesus. And if you think for one minute that Ylonda loss this battle... know for a fact that "SHE STILL WINS".

Your family missed you the day you closed your eyes to this side of heaven but knowing where you will spend eternity has put our hearts to ease. I will miss you my "sister from another mother" as you called me.  I was so downcast on Wednesday and now I know why...because you left us. The story of this passing is both sad and inspiring to me. I have babies about the same age and can only imagine the love that surrounds them at this time. Thankfully, we know they will see their mom again.
