

Zeora T Johnson was born December 13, 1930 to Taft Daniels and Gertrude Fite in Grady, Arkansas. She was the eldest of seven children She attended elementary school in Grady. She did not graduate high school but was determined to get a high school diploma and with hard work and determination she received her GED from Central Texas College in 1982. Zeora accepted Jesus Christ at an early age. On April 2, 1951 she married Charlie Duke Johnson. She was blessed with nine children. Her children are Glen Brown (Killeen), Charlie D. Johnson Jr. (deceased), Murlene Woods, husband Sam (Shreveport, LA), Jerome W. Johnson (Killeen), Ray E. Johnson (deceased), Sara J. Wynn (Columbus GA), Donna F. Taylor (Columbos, GA), Dennis R. Johnson (deceased), and Gregory G. Johnson, wife Gabrielle (Houston, TX). She joined Marlboro Height Baptist Church in the early 60’ s where she served as an usher till she became ill. She worked in the kitchen with the Killeen ISD and was a housekeeper at Bell Heaven Nursing Home until she retired. Zeora was preceded in death by her father and mother, husband, 2 brothers, 3 sisters and 3 sons. She leaves behind to cherish her memories, 4 daughters, 2 sons, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
