Kyle "Adam" Nichols passed away on October 4, 2025, at the age of 36. Born on July 31, 1989, in Houston, Texas, Adam was known as the most loyal son, brother, cousin, and friend. He was an incredibly thoughtful man who put immense effort into caring for those he loved.
Adam dedicated 13 years of his career to Kinder Morgan, where he was known for a strong work ethic and by his coworkers as a loyal friend and brother. Outside of work, he found joy in fishing and riding his motorcycle. He was an artist gifted with a talent for drawing and oil painting, but his greatest interest and gift in life was truly the way he cared for people. He lived through both good times and hard times with a "c'est la vie" mentality and demonstrated grace, strength, and resilience in the most impressive way.
Adam is survived by his loving family, including his mother Gaelin Nichols, and his father, Kyle Nichols. He leaves behind his sister and brother-in-law, Ariel and AJ Harms, and his beloved nieces, Piper and Marlee Harms. His extended family includes his Uncle Wade Burwell, Uncle and Aunt Ned and Sherri Nichols, Uncle Guy Nichols, and Aunt and Uncle Donnice and Chris Hoffman, along with many many MANY cousins who cherished him. Adam also had many honorary Aunts and Uncles to whom he meant the world, including Pam and Kerry Woodson, Kim Clinton, Greg Smith, and Cathy and Dan Williams. The people who loved him like their own are too numerous to list.
He is preceded in death by his Grandparents, Wilburn and Geneva Burwell, Rees and June Underhill, and Carl Nichols.
A funeral service to honor Adam's life will be held at Dayspring Church in Porter, located at 24277 FM 1314, Porter, TX 77365, on October 11, 2025, at 1:00 pm. Following the service, a graveside service will take place at Rosewood Memorial Park, 2602 S Houston Ave, Humble, Texas 77346, at 2:30 pm.
