Andrew was truly one of the kindest and most gentle souls anyone could ever have the privilege of knowing. He had a heart full of love, a spirit of generosity, and a faith in God that guided his life. His love for Jesus was reflected in the way he treated others—with kindness, compassion, and an unwavering willingness to help those around him. Andrew found great joy in attending church, praising the Lord, and listening to worship music each day. His faith was an important part of who he was, and he shared that love through his actions. He dedicated much of his time to helping others, volunteering at the Joy Center, Goodwill, and various community events. Whether lending a helping hand or simply offering a warm smile, Andrew had a special way of making the people around him feel loved and appreciated.
Above all, Andrew cherished spending time with his family. Some of his happiest moments were the simplest ones—playing cards and marbles for hours with his beloved grandmother, Gloria, enjoying family movie nights, and playfully giving his dad a hard time. These moments, filled with laughter, love, and memories, his family will forever hold close to their hearts. One thing many people may not have known about Andrew was just how much he loved school. He was often the first one awake in the morning, eagerly waiting for the day to begin. His enthusiasm and dedication carried him through his school years, and he proudly graduated from Goddard High School with A’s and B’s. Andrew had a beautiful way of finding happiness in life’s everyday moments. He never needed grand gestures or extraordinary things to bring him joy. His greatest happiness came from his faith, his family, and the opportunity to be surrounded by those he loved.
Andrew was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Gloria Navarette and Miguel Castillo. He leaves behind his loving parents, Paloma and Michael Garcia; his brother, Michael “Mikey” Garcia Jr., and wife, Nicole Garcia; his cherished nieces and nephew, and brothers; Jeremiah, Josiah, Donovan, and sister; Kayliyah, and Jayliyah Garcia; his grandparents, Janie and Raul Garcia; and numerous aunts, uncle, cousins, and extended family members who loved him dearly.
Andrew was a cherished son, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend. His gentle spirit, kind heart, and unconditional love touched the lives of everyone, fortunate enough to know him. Though his time here on earth was far too short, the love he gave and the memories he created will remain in the hearts of his family and friends forever. Andrew will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished. His family takes comfort in knowing that he is now resting in the loving arms of Jesus.
A funeral service will be held at Porter Gospel Assembly, located at 22080 Spear Rd., Porter, TX 77365, on Friday, October 16, 2026, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m
