I was saddened to learn of Barbara’s passing. We were neighbors in Kingwood, and had several mutual friends. She was always very kind and I enjoyed having her as a friend.

We first met Barbara when she and her family moved to Kingwood from Connecticut. Derek and our son John were in the same second grade class. We had many fun times together and many happy memories.

We all send our deepest sympathy and love to Derek and his family.
