I am so sorry to learn of Bruce’s passing. He was such a kind and considerate mentor to me. I think of him often. Always the gentleman, he taught me so much about trading, logistics and life.  I remember him kindly visiting, chatting and helping me route my way around Houston one early trip. I learned later he had 2 ships waiting for a berth, and he cool as a cucumber handling it all.  He definitely made a mark on me and my career.  He and his class of gentleman will be missed. Truly.

Sad to learn that Bruce has passed away, and my condolences to his family. We worked together at Texaco & Bruce’s laughter in the office caused everyone else to smile. 

I will always remember Bruce’s laugh and smile and the many years of knowing and talking to Bruce. Sandra and I always enjoyed traveling with and just  being  around Bruce and Terri.  Our condolences to Terri and family.

Dear Terri and the family, I'm Jean and John's daughter Cindy. I'm so sorry to hear of my cousin's passing. He and my mother in particular bonded over golf and having a first professional job in New York City, and he occupied the guest room at the Darien house while I was off at college. My father loved showing him the ropes of working in the big city.  I know from my mom's stories that he brought fun with him and I am sure that's how his grandchildren experienced him. May the gathering of friends and family bring comfort to all of you.

I remember  cousin Bruce's southern gentlemanly manners while visiting with him at a few Hancock family reunions when we were young.  As a young New Englander, I was fascinated with his accent!

 I wish I could be there for the funeral using what Mom would call pixie dust. Just spoke to my brother, Pete, and he hopes  able to be present on our behalf during this farewell to Bruce. Many fond memories of the Weller's still surface from time to time from my childhood, and I hope the gathering of family provides comfort and support during this time of grieving.

So sad to hear of Bruce’s passing. 
My mother knew how important family is and taught us children to pray the family names each night. 
He’s the first of the cousins to join those in the great beyond.

Bruce has been in our family for 41 years. He was there through thick and thin, laughter and tears, joy and sorrow. He was always a wonderful brother-in-law to me. I regret not telling him so. He will be missed. RIP Bruce. The Weller laugh!!! Bruce and I had many of those days working together.  My prayers of peace go out to Terri and “his girls”.   




Bruce and I worked together at Shell Trading for many years. He helped me learn when I came into the business, which I will be forever grateful for. He had a contagious laugh, and his love for his family was obvious. My heart goes out to Terri and his children and grandchildren.

When I think about Bruce I always think about his bright smile.  I enjoyed working with Bruce in the oil industry.
