Carole Ann Quinn
March 19, 1947 – October 9, 2020
Carole Ann Quinn, 73, of Kingwood, Texas, passed away on October 9, 2020, surrounded by her family. She was born on March 19, 1947 in Boston, Massachusetts and lived in the area until she was married in 1969. She is survived by her husband of over 50 years, John E Quinn Jr, her daughter Meghan Hadjioannou and her husband John, her son John E Quinn III and his fiancé Sara, her grandchildren George, Clara, and Jack, and her sister and brother, Susan Carnathan and Richard Mulcahy.
In 1969, Carole graduated from Rhode Island College with a degree in Special Education. She taught for over 30 years in Hawaii, Pennsylvania, and Texas. In Kingwood, she was a teacher at Good Shepherd Episcopal Preschool as well as St. Martha’s Catholic School. Carole had a passion for education and cherished her time in the classroom with her students and colleagues.
Carole was a long-time member of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church. On Sundays you could find her in the same pew, worshipping alongside her friends. She enjoyed her time serving on the Altar and Flower Guilds. An avid reader, Carole also helped lead the book club at Good Shepherd. Carole was always creative at heart. Since her retirement, she was involved in the Kingwood Garden Club. Creating flower arrangements and gardening were two of her passions. She filled her home with music and love. And in the afternoon, you could find her sketching out on the back porch and enjoying her gardens.
For Carole, spending time with family was her greatest joy. You would often find her preparing Sunday night dinners, watching her grandchildren in their activities, or catching up with her children over a cold glass of Chardonnay. She was an expert at creating wonderful moments for all of us, which will now become cherished memories.
The Memorial Service for Carole will be held in Kingwood at Good Shepherd Episcopal Church on Tuesday, October 20 at 11:00 AM. Flowers are welcome. They were one of Carole’s favorite things. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be sent to Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, a place very close to her heart.

On behalf of our Olson family we want to share our deepest sympathies to all of Carole's loved ones. Our hearts are broken for your loss of such an amazingly gifted, giving, kind, and selfless Mother, Wife, Grandmother, and Sister. We have so many special and treasured memories of Carole through the nearly 30 years we have been blessed to know her. Together our families have been there to share the big milestones of life. From our kids' school activities, to graduations, weddings, and new grand babies, Carole was always at the center of the events, sharing her many talents to make them the perfect memory for all of us. We know she now lives on in the lives of all of those she touched each and every day. May God wrap you all in His loving arms in the days ahead and may it bring you a measure of peace to know that you have one very special Angel watching over you each and every day. We love you all, Quinn family.

Carole~ a woman of strength and a Victorious FAITH. When I think of Carole- I think of our time together as Fillie Moms and her smile!! We are church family and oh how she loved the flowers. We sat together in a field trip with the Roadrunners~ conversation and laughter flowed as we sat in the bus next to each other. She was a fabulous Mom and Grandma~ she talked about the Sunday dinners that warmed her heart & soul!!! So loved.. so caring.. so kind ~ called to her Heavenly home so soon.
She will be the BEST guardian angel to her family as we pray for peace and strength to those who remain on Earth. Till you see her again.. know this... she spoke of you ~each one of you with great pride and LOVE. With Love, Carolyn & Whit
