Charles Joseph Avila

Charles Joseph Avila, 40, of Kingwood, passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2011. Charles was a loving husband, father and friend who worked hard to provide for his family. He was an outstanding man who, when not spending time with his family or working, loved the pastime of fishing.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Sylvia Avila. He is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Flor De Maria Avila; children, Miranda Angelica Avila, Joshua Timothy Avila and Victoria Amanda Avila; sisters, Sylvia Marquez, Cecilia Vallozi, Angelica Sopr and Virginia Avila; brother, Victor Avila; numerous nieces and nephews.

The family invites you to visit with them from 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 28, 2011 at Kingwood Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Kingwood Funeral Home.

Charles will be mentioned in Sunday Mass on August 28, 2011 at St. Martha Catholic Church in Kingwood as well as a mass held in Wilmington, California.

A memorial mass will also be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at 728 Galecrest Ave., La Puente, California 91744.
