Charles is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Wilma Short; nieces and nephews, Lois Hale, Dorothy Hunt, Elbert Ferguson, Jr., James Ferguson, Mary Bishop, Ray Ferguson and Eugene Ray Martin; grandsons, Brian Boudroux and Charles Sanchez.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at the home of Wilma and Charles Short, 701 Linville Grimes Road, Diboll, TX 75941.
The family would like to extend a Special Thanks to Heart to Heart Hospice for their loving care of Charles.
