Chase Taylor ‘BoBo’ Silver, 34, of Kingwood, Texas, died unexpectedly May 8, 2019. He was born March 16, 1985 in El Dorado, Kansas. He later moved to Kingwood, Texas where he attended Kingwood High School and graduated from the University of Houston where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics and a minor in International Business. He received a collegiate entrepreneurial award while attending U of H, which then led to his career as an oil and gas pipeline analyst.

He had a firm understanding of what was important, with a love for, and loyalty to, his family and friends. This loyalty included his devotion to the Raiders, KU Jayhawks, Houston Rockets and Astros. He was truly an athlete, hence his nickname BoBo which began with his love for Bo Jackson. He was coached by his Dad Chas early on in baseball where he excelled; he then went on to be a slayer of the three-point shot in basketball when he played for Kingwood High School. One of the highlights of his life was attending the Jayhawks win at the NCAA National Championship with his sister Amber and cousin Ryan. He was truly a sports aficionado and shared an uncanny ability to recite sports statistics, just like his Dad.

To his mother’s surprise, he had a rare ability of maintaining a respectable GPA without even opening a book. He also had an insatiable wit. He was spiritual and received daily scripture readings on his phone. He was intellectually sharp and loved learning, listening to Joe Rogan podcasts on every topic.

He will truly be missed by his niece Charlotte and nephews Maxwell, Aiden and Beckham who refer to him as Uncle BoBo. Maxwell (after hearing of BoBo’s trip to heaven) asked whether or not he still had to cheer for the Raiders.

Chase had his ornery side just like his Dad. As his mother, I’m so very proud of the man he was. Chase was a gentle giant with an even bigger heart.

He was preceded in death by his father Charles ‘Chas’ Silver and grandparents Don and Dixie Silver.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Anne ‘Taylor’ Healy and Jerry Healy; sisters Amber ‘Silver’ Terry (Matthew Terry) and Melissa ‘Healy’ Atkinson (Brandon Atkinson); brothers Stephen and Christopher Healy; grandparents Dr. Tom and Carol Taylor; niece Charlotte; nephews Maxwell, Aiden and Beckham; his uncles, aunts, cousins and numerous friends.

We invite you to celebrate Chase’s life with a reception to follow at his parent’s home at 5230 Maple Hill Trail, Kingwood 77345.

Well, chase. You really were one heck.of a basketball player.
So, I guess just... too bad that I was better. Yup. I beat u in that 3 point shootout/horse n i never let u 4get it lol. We had a 20 dollar bet. So i would like to thank you, for at least honoring your word, and paying it. Eleven years later. Lol :)
I miss u so much. Thank u for the photos n video u sent me of your family at Disneyworld. I told u I loved the fireworks n bugged u to take pics. U made a whole video. I was surprised. You never listened to me lol. The way I stay strong through this, is by learning a lesson. Be careful what u say in a moment of anger. Tomorrow is not guaranteed.
To any of us. R.I.P Chase Silver
My heart is breaking for your family n all your friends. Hug my ex bf for me. Hershawood, not Will in College Station. You didn't know him n that might be weird lol.
You always had my back. You always, always stuck up for me. Admittedly, I can be annoying lol I talk too much. But u put up with it. I'm going to wrap this up by saying, when my dad told me the Rockets lost the entire series, bc I was working n couldnt watch, I was happy. Because, if we had defeated the Golden State Warriors and you werent around to see it happen, that would make me more sad. R.I.P Chase Silver
Sleep with the angels
I wish I could put in the exact words, just how much u meant to me.

We feel we had a "small part" in raising such a wonderful person. The "daycare days" are some of our best memories. We loved being part of your family and are truly heartbroken. May you rest in peace and tell your dad we love and miss him too! You will always be "our Chaser boy." Darrell and Pam

Chase this still doesn’t feel real! I’m so heartbroken! I just wanted to say thanks....thanks to you and your family for opening your home to me so many times and for letting me third wheel your relationship all those years! All the movie dates and times I would tag along lol You always let me come over and vent when I was having a hard time and dealing with this craziness we call life. It meant more to me than you know! Please watch over Whitney and your family. I know they are hurting and could use some signs that your still with them. Say hi to Hershey for me ...tell him I still crack up every time I see photos of that New Years in your garage when he had that neck brace lol

My deepest condolences to Anne, jerry and the rest of the family. Please know you are in my prayers.
Love, Katie

Where do I even start? Chase you are the most selfless person I know. I envied that part of you. The years spent with you and your family are cherished forever and have molded who I am today. So many huge life lessons were learned with you. I still make your moms shepherds pie and I attempt Jerry’s lemon chicken but it never comes out like his. I think of you during every song that has the word “me” . Picturing you singing and changing “me” to “C” referring to yourself. 😂 (“all of C loves all of W”) haha You are so goofy. I imagine you and Andrew in heaven talking in the most ridiculous way and laughing together. I am SOO happy that you get to fall into your Dad’s arms. You always said that was the reason for your struggles and I’m certain you’re finding healing by being with him again. I’m so sad but so happy for your happiness and comfort you have craved for so long. Rest in complete and perfect peace with our Jesus. Love you C. 🙏🏼
