Constance Lillian Harlow, known affectionately as Connie, passed away on October 11, 2025, at the age of 90. Born on March 17, 1935, in Lowell, Massachusetts, Connie's life was marked by her beloved, hard-working, inspirational, and compassionate nature.

Connie's early endeavors included her business ownership in North Carolina, Maggie Valley, where she ran the Midway Restaurant in the 70's and Connie's Campground & Cottages, which operated through the 80's and 90's. Her entrepreneurial spirit left a lasting impact on the community.

Among her numerous achievements, Connie was active in her community, notably as the founder of a Maggie Valley, NC chapter of the "Red Hatters," where she took the role of "Queen." The organization was dedicated to participating in local community activities and offered heartfelt support to students at Jonathan Crock Elementary School.

In Connie's personal life, she was married to Howard "Doc" Harlow, who preceded her in death. Together, they spent their retirement years traveling the country in their RV and split their time between Maggie Valley, NC during the summer and Titusville, FL in the winter.

She was predeceased by her parents Swibert and Adrienne Durand, sister Claire Kendall, brothers Robert, Roger, Ronnie, and Roland Durand. She is survived by her daughter, Gloria Mitchell (John), of Kingwood, Texas; son, Gary Law (Jane), of Greensboro, North Carolina; sister Cecile Clarey (Brian), of Deering, New Hampshire, and brother Paul Durand (Carol) of, Asheville, North Carolina. As well as her beloved grandchildren Tyson, Charlotte, Logan, and Anna, and her great-grandchildren Trinity, Violet, Emrie, Lyndsie, Grayson, and Olive.

Connie made a tremendous impact on everyone she met, with her positivity and dedication to community. A Celebration of Life was held at her senior living facility, Novellus, in Kingwood, Texas.
