Cynthia Sue Rozenboom

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Stephen Douglas Rozenboom, her three sons, Joseph Sattizahn, Billy Rozenboom and Robert Turner. As well as her six grandchildren, Paul Sattizahn, Joshua Sattiazahn, Chase Sattizahn, Devon Sattizahn, Michelle Rozenboom, Stephanie Rozenboom, Madison Turner, and Abigail Turner.

Cynthia was loved deeply by everyone who touched her life. Born in Independence, Iowa on June 6th, 1954 to a family of ten brothers and sisters; Cynthia lived a long life dedicated to her family and to Christ. Cynthia married the love of her life, Stephen Douglas Rozenboom, on July 4th, 1978. She became a young mother to her three children and raised them in Iowa, before moving to Shepherd Texas in 1980. Throughout her time in Shepherd Texas, she opened her home and her heart to raise all six of her grandchildren and gave them all of the love and care that she had to give. Cynthia’s great-grandchildren were fortunate enough to be able to spend time with her and connected three generations of our large and loving family.

Her endless efforts and compassion extended to her beloved pets and her career in Home Health where she tirelessly worked for decades, touching the lives of the elderly in her community. Cynthia will be remembered for her welcoming heart, her ever-present sense of humor, and for the way she was always there for her family.
