

Daniel DiLieto Jr."Danny" passed away in his sleep on July 14, 2025 in his home in Kingwood, TX. He was born in 1970 in Queens, N.Y. to Daniel and Anna DiLieto. As a child Danny grew up in Brooklyn N.Y. and Lynbrook, N.Y. In 1983 the DiLieto family relocated to Kingwood, Texas where Danny graduated from Kingwood High School in 1988. He went on to attend Texas A&M University where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Science in 1993.
Danny was preceded in death by his mother, Anna DiLieto Snook. He leaves behind his father, Daniel DiLieto, sister Dalen DiLieto, numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. He also left behind his two dogs, Leia and Chewy (Star Wars theme), whom he loved and adored. He spent much of his time training them and teaching them tricks.
Danny was active in numerous sports growing up as well as other outdoor activities. He enjoyed living in Kingwood, especially biking on all of the trails through the woods. As an avid baseball fan, he closely followed his favorite team the New York Yankees. He also rooted for some of the local Houston teams. However his biggest love was for the Texas A&M Aggies. He watched many different sports, every season and stayed current on everything associated with the Aggie football team. For many years he was a season ticket holder and enthusiastically attended every game with his friends.
Danny successfully worked for 30+ years in the construction industry as an Estimator, Construction Manager and Project Manager. More recently he spent his time renovating his home that was severely damaged during Hurricane Harvey. Danny was a very caring person and a good friend to everyone. He had a large extended family that still resides in the New York area who he always enjoyed gathering with during holidays and special occasions. Danny loved his Italian upbringing, especially cooking and sharing our family recipes. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
A funeral service will be held at St Martha Catholic Church, located at 4301 Woodridge Pkwy, Texas, TX 77365, on July 29, 2025, from 10:30 am to 11:30 am.
The committal service will take place at Rosewood Memorial Park, located at 2602 S Houston Ave, Humble, TX 77396, on July 29, 2025, from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm.
