We were blessed to have Don, Trish, Maddie and Jessie in our lives when we lived in Colorado. Don helped with a building project at our house and his carpentry skills were beyond compare. We grew to love him and his beautiful family so much. We're keeping you all in our prayers as you walk through this difficult time. Sending love to you all.

Don was my host family when I was an exchange student in Colorado many years ago. I was lucky that he and the family accepted me and let me live with them for those wonderful years. He was a very kind man and a wonderful father. One of many great memories of him I enjoyed was he built a chicken house in the back yard and we would get fresh eggs every morning. My family from Japan also met him and we all love him. Don, you will be missed so much and you will always live in our hearts. Love you. Rest In Peace.

Trish, Maddie and Jessie; I am very sorry for your loss. My heart is so broken. I hope his beautiful memories will comfort you all during this difficult time. I wish I could be there to celebrate his wonderful life. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Love you all.

Maddie, Jessie, and mama Trish,
I’m so so sorry for your loss. I wish I could be there celebrating the life of the wonderful man who was a part of three of the most faithful and kindest and most personal women I’ve ever met. Heaven has a new angel today. I love you all very much and will be keeping all of you in my prayers.

I was blessed enough to spend 3 years with Don in my life. Although we were good friends he was always like a father figure. Of the many life lessons I learned from him I still use the ones he loved. First his love of God and Family and second his love of woodworking and building. Because of Don my Honey Do list gets done.

Thanks for everything my friend and may your family find comfort knowing you made an impact in so many lives.

I was great friends with his daughters. Though I didn't know him extremely well, I do fondly recall spending a lot of time over at their home and how kind he always was to me. My deepest condolences go out to the family. ❤️
