

Dorothy Stafford was born in Brooklyn, New York City on September 15th in 1938. She was the youngest born to Irish immigrant parents, Benjamin Stafford and Margaret Carney. She had a sister Joan Beasley. She was married to and survived by her husband of nearly 50 years, Norman Langeland and survived by her children, sons, Dr William Langeland and his wife Jennifer, John Langeland and daughter Doreen Speidel and her husband Dr Frank Speidel. She was the proud grandmother to her grandchildren, Thomas, Austin, John, Julia and Margaret Langeland, Christian and Jillian Jordan and Connor Speidel. She is survived by her great-grand daughter Ryelee Langeland and Michael Green.
She was active in the Mother’s of Twins Club in Staten Island. She attended college in Staten Island, New York and taught school at Xavier High School in Brooklyn, New York and St John’s in Houston, Texas before earning her doctorate of Chiropractic in 1986. She practiced in the Northwest Houston area. She had a passion for real-estate, chiropractic, travel, her family and to reach out to those in need.
She had succumbed to a long battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis. She touched many lives and gave to those who were in need. She made a difference in many lives that she met. She was a world traveler who met and made friends easily and had a gift for inspiring others.
