She spent most of her life watching over the youth of today as a crossing guard.
Edna is preceded in death by her loving husband, Vernon Purdy, her daughter Carol Purdy Terreri, her three sisters, Helen, Irma, and Ida Christensen, one brother, Cecil Purdy and one granddaughter, Kristin.
Edna is survived by two grandchildren Keith and Lauren and six great grandchildren, Krystopher, Lindsay, Madison, Sophie, Julia, and Jacob.
Edna Purdy will receive family and friends on Monday, June 4, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Dangler Funeral Home, 600 Speedwell Avenue, Morris Plains, New Jersey 07950.
