Elizabeth (Ann) Wetzel Timmons of Kingwood, Texas passed away, Wednesday June 5, 2019. She was born July 12, 1928 in Springfield, MO to Dr. William L Wetzel and Flora Ann Wetzel. Elizabeth graduated from Springfield High School and Lindenwood University with a BS in Food and Nutrition. She completed her internship in Dietetics at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI. Elizabeth retired from the VA Hospital in Amarillo, Texas as chief of Dietetics in 1984.

Elizabeth married Curtis Bryan Timmons June 6, 1953. The two of them were happily married for 59 years. They resided in Amarillo until his death in 2012, after which she moved to Kingwood to be closer to her family. Elizabeth is survived by her two children: Bridgette Hencey, Blake Timmons and his wife Mary, grandchildren Noleah Cole and her husband Rusty and Bryan Brown as well as one great-granddaughter Ella Cole.

I knew Ms. Timmons after she moved to Kingwood, and I always enjoyed her quit wit and love of life. She was such a joy to be around and was loved by all who knew her
