I think of Ellen often and hear her laugh.  We were in Las Vegas one year for a conference and went through a small haunted house.  She laughed because I hid behind her the entire time.  I pray for her and sometimes cry too.  She wasn’t always my buddy but she will always have my respect and admiration.  She was very proud of her husband and her boys.  A day didn’t go by without a family story or two.  I will keep her in memory and again say thank you for sharing your mom and wife with the rest of us.

I had the privilege of working with Ellen for many years…all the way back when she managed Respiratory Therapy through her work with the Simulation Center.
She was a “one of a kind” as Linda Ferranti said.  Her expectations were set high and she had a wonderful work ethic. I learned so much from Ellen and will always be grateful for the time I had working alongside with her. 
But most impressive about Ellen, was her love for her family. She always kept us updated on you and the boys (all good!) and she loved you all so much. I am so sorry for your loss. 
Please know that I am keeping you and your family in my prayers and thoughts.


I don’t know how many lives Ellen has saved over the years.  Her dedication to teaching and practicing correctly so people can have their second chance to breathe was a gift that many learned. 
Thank you to her family for sharing her with the rest of us.  She was my leader, friend, and occasionally my challenge.  She saved me once as well.  For that, I will always be grateful.  She will truly be missed.  May angels watch over you through this regretful time. 

Ellen was a wonderful women. Someone you enjoyed being around and very supportive. I enjoyed knowing her. She always had a funny story and loved her family. I am sorry to learn about her passing. All of us who have known her will experience loss. 

Dearest Pringle family, I just heard about your loss.  Please know that Ellen was one of the most committed persons I ever had the pleasure to work with.  She was dearly loved by many at MD Anderson Cancer Center. She was especially supportive of nursing educators and we have missed her so much. May God bring comfort to all of you during your bereavement.  This is a tremendous loss.

So very sorry for your loss. She was a loving, kind, and caring person. She will be missed.
