Emily R. Jayroe, 37, passed away suddenly on Aug. 22, 2010. Emily is survived by her devoted husband, Glenn Jayroe and daughter, Brenda Jayroe; parents, Patricia & John Cugini and grandparents, Pete and Mildred Swearingen; uncles, Mike Swearingen and Will Swearingen and her chosen sister, Lori Smyth. Emily was a past board member of the Houston Square and Round Dance Council and while serving as a wildlife rehabilitator rescued thousands of white tail deer over her 20 years of service. The family will receive friends from 6 PM until 8 PM, Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2010 at Kingwood Funeral Home, 22800 Hwy. 59 North, Kingwood. Funeral Service will be held at 12:30 PM, Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2010 at Kingwood Funeral Chapel followed by a graveside service at Houston National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Jesse Jones Park Volunteers or the no kill Animal Shelter of your choice. Memorials should be noted in memory of Emily Jayroe.
