Esther Jones

Graveside services are pending at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia.

Mrs. Jones was born in Tenney, Minnesota, April 2, 1918. After a civil service career, she retired in 1973. She was a member of Strawbridge United Methodist Church, a devoted and loving wife, stepmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

Mrs. Jones is survived in death by her brother, Willard Wahl; twelve nieces and nephews: Joyce Bock, Raymond Wahl, Michael Wahl, Sandy DeSutter, Marlaine Parlier, Jannette Schmidt, Susan Ihrke, Gary Wahl, Richard Keel, Steven Wahl, Amelia Keel, and Gale Lupkes; her step-son, Raymond W. Jones, Jr; grandsons, Raymond W. Jones III and Timothy Jones; and her two great-grandchildren, Ashley and David Jones. She is preceded in death by her husband, the late Raymond W. Jones; her parents, Carl and Amelia Wahl; five brothers, Emil Wahl, Harry Wahl, William Wahl, Albert Wahl, and Harvey Wahl; her sister, Arleen Wahl Keel; and her niece, Judith Hindahl.
