With tearful hearts, we watched him fade away….
Although we loved Farrald dearly, we could not make him stay.
A golden heart stopped beating, his hands laid to rest,
God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.
Farrald G. Belote, Jr., 89, of Kingwood, Texas, passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2025, surrounded by his loving wife and grandson.
Farrald was born October 20, 1935, in Waco, Texas to Eula Louise and Farrald G. Belote, Sr. He graduated from Texas A&M with an undergraduate degree and masters in English and Math. He served our country as a captain in the Air Force. He attended Kingwood Methodist Church and founded a charity, Medicine Arm and Arm, providing dental care for children in Russia and Africa. His passion was winter skiing and classical music and stumping his friends and family with his amazing knowledge of extraordinary things.
Farrald was preceded in death by his parents and brother, David. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 29 years, Arlene; his son, David; his daughter, Suzanne; his sister, Dorothy; his stepchildren, Robin, Cheryl, Darren, and Dianna; his grandchildren, D.J., Kyle, Chad, Trent, Bronwyn, Mark, Sam, and Sarah Grace; and many beloved friends.
Farrald was a loving and honorable man and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held at Kingwood Methodist Church, 1799 Woodland Hills Drive, Kingwood, Texas, on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at 10:30 am.
