She was born on March 15, 1939 in Livingston, Texas, to Floyd and Priscilla Parker. Her sister and brother are Juanita Graham and Jack Parker. She married her first husband, Robert Daniell, and they had four children, Diane, Lavon, Floyd, and Johnathan. She later married Franklin Jackson, and they had a daughter, Andrea. She has four grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. She worked at the United States Post Office for more than 20 years and served as a National Rural Letter Carrier's Association Steward before her retirement in 2006.
A memorial service is scheduled for 11 am on March 19th, 2022 at Kingwood Funeral Home.
