My heart goes out to Fred’s family and friends. He was a great guy and solid and thoughtful leader.
I am eternally grateful for his support at KAD to help me, a first time candidate from Kingwood HS, get elected to be Judge. He will be missed by many. Judge Jim F. Kovach.

Fred and I worked together at the Texas Health and Human Services state agency. Fred was a very fine gentleman and an incredibly vibrant and intelligent driving force in our department's mission to imbue quality principles across the information technology division. He applied his knowledge, experience, and people skills for the betterment of the day-to-day business of our state. Fred was a model to be emulated. Although I did not know his family, he was devoted to them as a good husband and father. May he rest in peace. Fern Chenault
