I was so sad to hear of George's death and also sad that I didn't know much of George's recent life, except for his illnesses. George and I were freshmen at UT and often rode together back and forth from southeast Texas, where I lived and Lafayette. I have many happy memories of those times...

Quintin and I would not be where we are today if not for the kindness, trust and belief George had in us. He invested in our company when we were just starting out in construction, not really knowing what we were doing and just learning the ropes. Quintin and I now have a successful medical supply company and we are no longer building homes, but our accomplishments today all stem back to a kind, gentle man who believed in a couple of young kids. Thank you George for believing in us, you will never be forgotten.
