Hung Le passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on October 30, 2019, at the age of 64. He was born in South Vietnam on November 21, 1954 to Bui Nguyen and Son Le.
As Hung Le says, he, “married the most beautiful girl in town” -- KimVan Nguyen on January 25, 1980. They were blessed with two daughters, Anhthu Jackson and Kim Le. Mr. Le worked as an accountant in South Vietnam until 2007 when he and Kim immigrated to the USA to be near their daughter and Son-in-law living in Houston. In Houston, he quickly went to work for Nailor Industries where he worked until very recently.
Hung was the oldest child of seven; and, at a very young age, he had the responsibility of taking care of his six younger siblings. Hung Le took his responsibilities seriously and was a very hard worker as a youngster and an adult. His primary goal was to provide for and take care of his family. Although, he never wanted any help from others; he was the first to offer help and to go to great lengths to help friends and people in need. Hung Le was generous, kind and loving. His warmth, his genuine love of people and high energy easily endeared him to others and made him welcome in any group. Photography was a favorite hobby and he was rarely seen without his camera. He loved to play ping pong and Chinese Chess and he excelled in those games. He also enjoyed playing a friendly game of Blackjack. He seemed to be tireless and couldn't stay seated-- even when he was really sick. Hung worked until the last weeks of his life and that helped him keep his positive attitude, and it kept his mind sharp until the very end. Hung Le was fearless, charismatic, a daredevil and full of dynamic energy.
Hung Le was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Dung Le. He is survived by his wife: Kim Van Nguyen (Kim); two daughters: Anhthu Jackson (Anna) and Kim Le (BamBi); two sons-in-law: David Jackson and Loc Cao; two grandsons: Aiden Jackson and Brendan Cao (Bean); siblings: Hung Le, Kim Thuy Le, Kim Hoa Le, Kim Phuong Le, Kim Loan Le of Vietnam, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Hung Le was cherished by his family, and all who knew him, loved him. We will miss him dearly.
