Irene L. Oleski

Irene L. Oleski, 91, passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2011 in Humble, Texas. She was born on December 13, 1919 in Chicago, Illinois to George and Vernie Kawell. Irene is survived by her daughter, Nancy Lendecky and husband Richard; grandchildren, Judi Bucholz and husband Gary, Brian Lendecky and wife Stephanie and Karen Gapsiewicz and husband Todd; great-grandchildren, Logan, Braylen, Carter, Brianna, Wylee, Brian, Shea and Avery. Visitation will be held at Kingwood Funeral Home on Monday, May 30, 2011 from 4 pm - 8 pm. A funeral mass will be held at St. Martha's Catholic Church on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at 10 am with interment to follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery in Houston, Texas. In Lieu of flowers the family would like donations to be made in Irene's name to The American Heart Association or The American Cancer Society. The family would like to thank the nurses, aids and staff of Park Manor of Humble for their compassion and the great care they gave to Irene, they would also like to thank St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church for sending someone out to make sure she received communion.
