

James (Jim) Michael Ducey, 59, of Kingwood, passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2012. Jim was a gentle, generous, kind-hearted man who loved his family and friends. He served in the United States Army from 1971 – 1973 where he played on the Army Base football team in Okinawa. Jim graduated from Bentley College before spending a long and successful career with Compaq Computers, a career that took him to all corners of the world. He loved all sports and was an avid golfer, often devoting his time to the Golfers Against Cancer.
Jim is survived by his loving wife of 7 years, Laurie Ducey; parents, James and Rosarie Ducey; siblings, Patti Ducey, Kathy Garvey and husband Mark, Jason Ducey and wife Georgette, David Ducey and wife Kathy; nieces and nephews, Marnie Benney, Kate Garvey, Sean Garvey, Megan Garvey, Anna Garvey, Michael Ducey, Nicholas Ducey, Erin Ducey, Patrick Ducey, Delaney Ducey, Timothy Ducey; mother-in-law, Jean McNulty; brother-in-law, Fred McNulty; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, February 13, 2012 at Kingwood Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 in the Chapel of Kingwood Funeral Home. Interment will follow at a later date at Houston National Cemetery.
