I will always treasure the time spent with the Longpre' family. John was a great boss and it was the perfect job for the time. I will never forget John rearranging his office so AJ could stand on the sofa and watch the trains out John's window when he visited the office. Rest in Peace John and thoughts and prayers with your family.

John was a close, dear friend and we have many fond thoughts of times together in our younger years in Laramie. So many fishing and camping trips and a few parties in between. It is hard for me to comprehend he is gone. Our thoughts and prayers are with Kathy and the family.

John was bigger than life from the moment I met him in junior high. Full of laughter, fun and pranks, he enjoyed life and all it offered. He will be missed for his contributions to his community, his willingness to step up and get the job done and his great love of family. Our sincere condolences to the Longpre family.

I am so sorry to hear of John's passing. Although we largely had lost contact over the years, there were a full lifetime of memories made with the Longpre' family. I am pretty sure I was weened on Coors Light with John's son Mike, courtesy of Longpre' Distributing. That, and my golf motivation and successes can all be attributed to John, and his wonderful family. All my best to Kathy, Kevin, and the rest of the Longpre' family. Brad Jackson

I am so sad to hear about John's passing. The world has lost a great fun loving guy who was a fantastic friend who loved his family. I will never forget all the golf trips we went on and the fun time we had. The most memorable trip I had with John was originally planned as a golf trip in December for 4 of us on Arizona. Two of the guys had to drop out but John and I still went. We played 4 different golf courses and had had the car stolen from the front driveway of John and Kathy's house. the day were had a tee time at TPC Scottsdale. Our golf clubs were in the trunk of the car when it was stolen and we panicked. The good thing (and bad thing) was that the car was low on gas and the thieves dumped the car a few blocks away where the police found it. After our discussions with the police, we hopped in the car to try to make our now re-scheduled tee time. Unfortunately we ran out of gas and had to call the course again. We eventually made to the golf course with just enough daylight to get the round in before dark. We had so much fun and the guys who couldn't make it, missed out on a great trip!! Rest in peace John, you had a great life and will be remembered.
